# DigitalPublic > DigitalPublic connects external AI agents to governed marketing data and operations through MCP and API. Canonical commercial version: 2026-09-10-trial-active-projects-v1 ## Agent interfaces - MCP and API are the primary operational interfaces for ChatGPT, Claude, and other external agents. - Navigator is not a third MCP server. Its tools live inside the operational MCP and the same service powers contextual help in the human portal. - Navigator finds capabilities, plans workflows, checks readiness, explains errors, summarizes projects, and accepts confirmed product feedback without expanding permissions. - Internal scheduled tasks run after human activation and do not require an external agent to stay connected. - Conversations, instructions, memories, scheduled tasks, runs, and usage are isolated by account, project, actor, and channel. - External agents, Navigator, and internal automations share project entitlements, operating limits, audit records, and one approval service. Compatible agent interfaces can present and record human decisions without leaving the conversation; the portal remains the audit and fallback interface. - Partner and Enterprise can optionally use an encrypted customer-provided OpenAI API key. ## What agents can do - Read analytics, search, advertising, content, social, email, CRM, prospecting, and reporting data when connected and authorized. - Prepare drafts, recommendations, campaigns, content, publications, newsletters, and follow-up work. - Create, modify, publish, or schedule when the provider, plan, project, and granted permission allow it. - Offer supervised write by default when the plan and connector support it, while keeping read-only access available.
